Nancy Wilson

Nancy Wilson is a native of Atlanta and received her undergraduate degree from Georgia State University. She has studied flute with Warren Little, Marion Valasek and Kareen Brett and continues her studies with Christina Smith. Since 1971, she has maintained an active private studio and was formally a middle school band director.  Mrs. Wilson has performed with the Emory University Wind Ensemble, the Atlanta Community Orchestra, Georgia Perimeter College Wind Ensemble and the Dekalb College Wind Ensemble.  Currently she performs with the Dekalb Symphony Orchestra, Peachtree Symphonic Winds, the Flute Choir of Atlanta, the Atlanta Flute Ensemble and Papanago Flute Quartet and is assistant conductor of The Atlanta Music Academy Flute Choir. She serves as president of the Flute Choir of Atlanta , President of the Atlanta Flute Club and a member of the National Flute Association.
